Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi

Carlo Pernat gave his opinion about the Estoril race last Sunday. Pernat told that this year podium will be shared between Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, and Dani Pedrosa. Stoner was made a good run on Estoril. Pernat told that only a few rider can win a races with gap management.

Pernat says, "Stoner's win today was like a university lecture.  He broke away, opening up a small gap, and then he just managed it.  It almost looks easy, only a few riders in the world can do it: Agostini did it, Valentino, Max Biaggi. And Stoner does it. And it looked to me like Lorenzo ran two races at Estoril; he was exhausted when he crossed the finish line."

He continue, "Psychologically he took the loss hard, and worse than he did at Jerez. Things didn't go too badly for Pedrosa, although there is always some problem for him. Here is was the near highside at the start, in Spain it was the damp spots on the track, but in any case they are clearly the three Musketeers. They are always sharing the podium among themselves, and that's what we can expect for the rest of the season."

What about the rest of contestant? Tech 3's riders Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso are the names to awered. Pernat says, "We should also mention Dovizioso, who had a good race and is competing with Crutchlow for Spies' factory seat. Ben looks like he is on the moon right now, and perhaps the switch from 800 to 1000cc's hasn't gone well for him."

And Valentino Rossi? Carlo Pernat told that 28 seconds behind the winner was not good for Ducati. He will call Casey Stoner again to ride Ducati. He says, "And then we heard Valentino sounding happy after the race, which is incredible to me considering that he was 28" behind the winner. I say it again: if I was a manager at Ducati, I would try and get Casey Stoner to return, offering him a boatload of money. Perhaps it wouldn't be possible for any number of reasons, but who else can they go for? Everyone is afraid to ride the Ducati, and his statements about wanting a one year deal make me think he's on the market.  If I were in their shoes, I would try it."

After being released by Strikeforce, former light heavyweight champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal has signed with both TNA professional wrestling and Bellator. Both groups have a partnership with Spike, making this deal possible.

"This deal is a dream come true for me," Lawal said. "Bjorn [Rebney, Bellator CEO] and Dixie [Carter, TNA president] have given me the opportunity to engage in my two great loves, mixed martial arts and professional wrestling, at the same time.  And, to have it all on Spike TV is really Buttercream icing on a big ole cake — not that whipped cream stuff either!"

He will begin appearing with TNA Impact this summer. When Bellator moves from MTV2 to Spike in 2013, Lawal will return to mixed martial arts.

It's a perfect fit for Lawal, who has world-class amateur wrestling credentials and enough showmanship to fit in well among the pro wrestling world. His fight entrances often used props and dancers, and he wore a crown and a cape to the cage. Lawal also showed off his pro wrestling chops with Strikeforce heavyweight Daniel Cormier in November of 2009.

This contract is a bright spot for what had been a turbulent 2012 for Lawal. He contracted a life-threatening staph infection after knee surgery. His victory over Lorenz Larkin was overturned by the Nevada Athletic Commission for a positive drug test, and he was suspended from MMA for nine months. After the hearing to appeal his suspension, Lawal called a commissioner a racist [expletive], and was cut from Strikeforce. Though he apologized personally to the commissioner, he was still not invited back to the Zuffa-owned promotion.

He doesn't see a scenario where he will return to Zuffa through Strikeforce or the UFC:

"I'm not going to wait for nobody. If somebody comes to me with something that is good and a great deal, I'm going to take the best deal. And right now, the Bellator deal is the best deal you can possibly get. With Bellator and Impact Wrestling, that's the best deal you can possibly get, and I took it."

How will "King Mo" do as a pro wrestler and fighter? Tell us in the comments, on Facebook or Twitter.

Strikeforce bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has made quite a name for herself. She won the belt from Miesha Tate in March, and since then has appeared on "The Ultimate Fighter," in magazines and at UFC and Strikeforce shows. As she became famous, someone from her past suddenly reappeared. On Instagram, Rousey shared how an old beau contacted her out of the blue and how she responded.

Let this be a lesson to men everywhere. Always give the courtesy call, because you never know when a woman will become a famous mixed martial artist who is capable of embarrassing you and breaking your arm.

Jim Miller made weight in front of his home crowd at the Izod Center in Newark, just a half hour from where he trains. His opponent, Nate Diaz, also made weight to make their five-round fight on Saturday official.

The rest of the weigh-ins were uneventful. Danny Castillo sported the best outfit, coming to the stage in what appeared to be a suit and tie, but tore off like track pants. John Dodson's socks were the best accessory. John Lineker came in a pound heavy for his flyweight bout with Louis Gaudinot, and will hand over $1,200 to Gaudinot.

Randy De Puniet vs Aleix Espargaro Estoril 2012

Aspar Power Electoric got 2 best CRT awards on Europe race at Jerez and Estoril. The next race will be on Le Mans. Without Colin Edwards, who got the best CRT on Qatar GP, the chance for Aspar Power Electronic is bigger.

Only 2 riders and 2 teams so far on the best CRT. Colin Edwards (NGM Mobile Forward Racing) and Aleix Espargaro (Aspar Power Electronic). Randy De Puniet, Espargaro's teammate was 2 times on 2nd best CRT. After a last Aspar's battle on Estoril, De Puniet told that he hope for a better result.

Michel Pirro from Gresini should be a good competitor, but it looks that his performance on Gresini's CRT was not as expected. Duo Avintia, Yonny Hernandez and Ivan Silva, Danilo Petrucci on Ioda and Mattia Pasini (Speed Master) have not shown good performance. James Ellison also struggle with chatter issue. So the battle left to Aleix Espargaro and Edandy De Puniet.
